MDF Tromner Neurological Reflex Hammer with pointed tip handle for cutaneous and superficial responses - Free-Parts-for-Life & - Black (MDF555-11)Product Description
3-in-1
Either Tromner or Troemner, however you spell it, this popular reflex hammer was invented by Ernst L.O. Tromner, MD, a director of the Neurological Hospital at St. Georg and professor at the University of Hamburg. The MDF stainless-steel Tromner Hammer is a versatile 3-in-1 dual mallet-type reflex hammer with a third testing device at the base of the handle. It’s handcrafted and designed for eliciting myotatic and cutaneous responses in and pediatric patients.
HEAD OF ITS CLASS
The balance-weighted stainless-steel head of the MDF Tromner Hammer is outfitted with large and small mallets constructed of soft silicone for precise percussions, less practitioner effort and greater patient comfort. The larger mallet is used for stretch reflexes, while the smaller mallet is used to elicit percussion myotonia.
COMFORTABLE
Let’s face it we can all use a little more comfort. The weighted stainless-steel handle is precisely balanced for increased control of force for percussion. The handle is optimized for comfort and crafted for exact movements. The base of the handle, elicits superficial or cutaneous responses, including platar and abdominal reflexes. As with all MDF instruments our Tromner Hammer is Latex Free and comes with product support.
