Cosmetic Condition
The pump is in fairly good cosmetic condition. It has scuff marks, scratches, and general wear from use.
Please see the photos for more detail.
Please note that we will drain the pump oil before shipping to reduce the chance of leaking. It will need replacement oil before use.
No other parts or accessories are included. Only that which is shown in the photos will ship.
Testing
We tested the motor by connecting it to a a 220V single phase line. The pump would not start when switched on.
The only evidence of component damage we could find inside of the Leroy-Somer Varmeca VF drive mounted on top. There are some blackened areas near resistors next to a chain of two capacitors on a PCB. The resistors show expected ohms when tested with a multimeter. We replaced the capacitors with new ones (same model, capacitance, and voltage) as one of the capacitors was bulging slightly. This did not fix the issue and the pump did not power on.
We then removed the junction box from the top of the pump and connected it to a 230V three-phase line as indicated on the motor specifications. When energized, the motor powered on and the pump produced strong suction. We suspect that the electronics in the VF drive may need board-level repair or re-wiring to restore function. However, the motor and pump are in working condition.
This is the full extent of the testing performed.
